Proxy Server Setup

The proxy server on each SCNC server is enabled at startup. The proxy server will initially allow all hosts ending in your domain (i.e. scnc.k12.mi.us) and all hosts within your class C network (i.e. 35.8.2.*) to access the proxy server. You can administer the proxy server using the Domain Name Service Administration functions on the Server Software Administration page.

To use the proxy server, point your client software at your SCNC server using port 8080 (i.e. train1.scnc.k12.mi.us 8080).
